Freelance jobs

Published by natashagils at 7:51 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Man, have I (re)searched or have I (re)searched! Much of it was futile - well, it depends on how you look at it. From finding a job point of view, it was miserably futile. But I did learn a lesson or two - or many - in trusting issues. For all the kids out there - don’t trust everything you read on the internet! And the same applies to the adults! There are no quick rich schemes floating around out there in cyber space for you to grab - unless you’re Bill Gates, of course. But there’s a 6.3 billion : 1 chance of that happening! So stop fantasizing about rolling in a pool of cash and get real!

I do have leads on some potentially interesting work-from-home opportunities. Of course most of them required me to pay an arm-and-a-leg just to register, and I’m still wondering if it was worth it, but I guess there are no free lunches. Sad, really.

Lets start from the start - who doesn’t dream of working in his/her pj’s, not having to listen to some brainless fool (putting it mildly) spew out endless rubbish, not having to leave burn marks on your office chair (from the friction- endless sitting, duh! ). Eat when you want, work when you want, snog the wife if/when you want. Sounds good, doesn’t it?

Right… so WHERE are these elusive jobs, you ask? Hush, little one! Patience! Before I get into it, let me warn you about all the scammers out there eager, very, very eager to get their nasty hands on your money. And your trust. I wonder which is more valuable? So be wary - always wary.

Now the fun bit:

Below are links to some freelance jobs. I cannot promise their authenticity (I’ve tried my best though to pick out the most reliable, but I’m only a bird, after all) but you’ve nothing to lose checking them out.

( 1 ) www.getafreelancer.com

( 2 ) www.freelancejobopenings.com

( 3 ) www.indeed.com

( 4 ) www.flexjobs.com (requires a nominal fee.. if you consider thirty bucks nominal?)

And for all the Canadians out there, you could look into www.careers.ca . Its a vast portal of information, regarding everything employement!

Hope these are helpful. Till next time, happy freelancing!
